A vastly experienced goalkeeper, 31-year-old Darren Ward joined the Canaries in July 2004 on a two-year deal from Nottingham Forest.
A full Wales international, Darren began his career with Mansfield Town before moving on to Notts County and subsequently Nottingham Forest.
An excellent shot-stopper, Darren commands his area extremely well, and with over 450 League appearances to his name is one of the most experienced members of Nigel Worthington's squad.
Opportunities in his first season at Carrow Road were limited due to the form of Robert Green, but Darren established himself as the Club's second-choice 'keeper ahead of Paul Gallacher and Joe Lewis.
He made nine reserve ream appearances and was on the bench as City's substitute 'keeper on 29 occasions, tasting action just once following Robert Green's departure with injury during the second half of City's away match at Charlton.
