Andrew is a very versatile Scottish under-18 international who made his Canary debut in the FA Cup Third Round tie against West Ham at Carrow Road in January 2006. He is equally at home in either full-back position, on the right hand side of midfield and also played regularly for the youth team in the heart of defence. Quick and tenacious, he reads the game well and likes to pass the ball simply to retain possession. Twice voted youth team Player of the Season, his progress was confirmed when he was offered a professional contract which began in July 2006.
